The project scope included:
• UX and UI design
• Visual direction and layout system
• Responsive implementation in Webflow
• Content structuring and hierarchy
• Conversion-focused user journey
The website was designed and built in Webflow, allowing for visual storytelling, smooth navigation and easy future content updates.
Research
Pet photography is highly emotion-driven. Clients are preserving memories and relationships, not just purchasing visually appealing photos. Because the photographer excels at storytelling and brings humor into the process, we aimed to highlight these strengths in a clear, well-structured way.
Key highlights:
• Proof of photography quality (portfolio first)
• Trust & safety for their dog
• Subtle personality through microcopy and tone
• Clear explanation of session process
• Simple contact and booking path
Solution
The UX was built around a simple flow: portfolio → trust → services → contact.
I designed a clean, photography-first layout with strong typography and minimal distractions. Content was structured to reduce client anxiety, explain the process clearly, and highlight expertise and awards as social proof.

Webflow allowed precise design implementation, fast performance for image-heavy content, and easy future updates.
Design process
I worked closely with the photographer to curate both the content and the text, making sure the reading experience feels natural and that the storytelling stays clear and cohesive throughout the portfolio.
I used pre-built Relume components to speed up the development process, while carefully customizing them to match the brand and layout. During the design phase, I also considered how these components function in practice and adapted them to fit with the visual style and flow of the entire website.

Logo design
As part of the project, a simple logo was also created, based on the initials MM — short for the photographer’s first and last name. This helped keep the typography consistent across the entire website, as the font used in the logo was then matched with the fonts used throughout the site.
